I'm currently using a Logitech G930 wireless headset which is connected through USB. I need to finish this tonight, but Pro Tools keeps outputting the audio through my surround speakers. HOWEVER, I don't live alone and where I live its currently 10:50pm which is when my family goes to bed. I have my project 99% done so far, I just need to add in a couple more clips, master it and then finish my technical summary. So I saved a copy of my project to a thumb-drive and brought it home with me to work on. I've been using the audio labs at school which have been fine, but they were all booked up today and tomorrow (which is the deadline). The professor has been having us use Pro Tools throughout the year but has not gone in depth with how the program works. Make sure the sample rate and bit depth used in your audio software are set to the same values as well.I'm working on my final class project for the year for my introductory audio class. If they do not match, click on the drop-down menu and match the sample rate and bit depth. Ensure that the bit depth and sample rate stated within the drop-down menu match the details noted in step 2 and untick the Exclusive Mode boxes.Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Playback Devices > right-click iD14> Properties > Advanced.Make note of the bit depth and sample rate stated within the drop-down menu and untick the Exclusive Mode boxes.Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Recording Devices > right-click iD14> Properties > Advanced. We also recommend making sure that the Exclusive Mode boxes are NOT ticked, as this can prevent your interface from working with particular programs. This can be resolved by making sure the input and output sample rates of your system are both set to be a matching sample rate used in your preferred software. Sometimes an application such as your DAW can take exclusive control over the sample rate of your iD14, causing other software to be unable to output audio through the interface.
